Watch Westminster live here each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Central Time.
On Sunday, March 7, we will offer a drive-thru distribution of pre-packaged communion elements for those who have worshipped with us virtually this week. Pastor Will and an elder will be in the Lawson Avenue lot from 11:30 a.m., or the end of worship, until 12:15 p.m. for those who would like to come. Please remember: In our tradition, the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is a means of grace by which the Gospel is sealed on the hearts of those who receive it, much like a letter is sealed, or given full force, by a personal signature. Ordinarily, the Gospel comes to us through the reading of the scriptures and their proclamation. The bread and cup allow believers to "taste and see" (Ps. 34:8) God's goodness and love in Christ, which is we regularly receive primarily through hearing (Rom. 10:17). We also believe that the sacrament is for the whole body of believers, who are gathered together, and know that, by grace, they have been reconciled to God and one another. All who have been baptized, repent of their sins, desire to live in love and charity with all their neighbors, and have worshipped either in person or virtually, are welcome to join us.
